ADRAD – Australia’s Radiator supplier is celebrated it’s 20th year in 2005.

Founded Adelaide Radiator Supplies in 1985 by the Washington Family – the company has now grown to its current size of close to 200 employees.

Originally distributing a small range of radiator parts and components with limited manufacturing, ADRAD now boasts a 6,500m2 manufacturing facility and an 11,500m2 central distribution warehouse.

Manufacturing is split into 3 key areas:

Automotive copper / brass, Industrial copper / brass and more recently alloy heat exchanger production.

The light automotive production lines cover from small heaters, cars and 4WD to mid sized commercial vehicle radiators.

ADRAD’s industrial production sector deals with tractors, trucking, earthmoving radiators and power generation radiators some measuring 2 metres or more in height.

Alloy production features a state of the art SECO WARWICK controlled atmosphere brazing furnace the only type of its kind in Australia. Products vary from V8 supercar radiators, oil coolers and cooling components to huge intercoolers to suit mining equipment.

ADRAD holds a balance of locally made Australian product and imported products within its central distribution warehouse. Having partnered with quality suppliers like Koyo and Radicon the product range is the largest in Australia.

Sales & distribution is handled by branch warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Newcastle with Adelaide remaining the company’s head office.

An additional manufacturing facility was established in Auckland NZ recently to compliment the ADRAD NZ branch that was established some 4 years ago.
